MOMENTS is a collaborative illustration exhibition held in the historic Sinan Mansions in central Shanghai in the summer of 2021. As one of three participating artists, I created an original illustration for the exhibition, which also served as its key visual.

The illustration captures a fleeting yet intimate scene. Two women from different eras sit together in a shared pocket of time, one carrying the quiet weight of tradition, the other embodying the present. Bathed in tranquil afternoon light, they share a moment of calm and connection. In this gentle overlap of past and present, the quiet beauty of ordinary life emerges, alongside the enduring resilience of women in the post–COVID-19 world.
